PRESHIL WEEKLY
Dear Preshil community,
I hope this message finds you well and that you had a restful break, recharged and ready for another term of learning.
Personally, I enjoyed a few day trips with my family and explored some new coffee shops. There is nothing like a good coffee during winter—actually, you can’t go wrong with it at any time, really!
We have various things to look forward to over the term ahead, whether that be the Book Week Library Excursion and dress-up day, one of our various Term 3 camps, Anthology Week, opportunities for students to share their learning in our open evenings, or the French Olympics with social enterprise ‘Crepes for Change’, there is something for all our students and families to look forward to.
Additionally, I want to highlight an important update:
Educational Review
The final document will be published for our community and shared next Friday, July 19th. I would like to thank our community members for their invaluable contributions during this process. I am excited to be in a position shortly to share this with our broader community.
I am looking forward to a fantastic term ahead!

- STUDENT FREE DAY
- FIRST DAY OF TERM 3
- 11:10am-4:30pm: BK – Production Cast Excursion: MacBeth (Malthouse Theatre) – All students need a packed lunch and a valid Myki card for this excursion.
- 8:45am-3:20pm: BK – Production Cast Rehearsals (Black Box Theatre)
- 8:45am-3:20pm: BK – Production Lighting Design Day (Black Box Theatre)
- 9:00am-11:00am: BK – Year 7 & 10 Student Immunisations
- 11:10am-1:00pm: BK – Wellbeing Event: Nurturing Cohort Connections – The REACH Foundation will return in Term 3 to continue the scope of work initiated around respectful relationships in Term 1.
- 8:45am-3:20pm: BK – Production Rehearsals (Black Box Theatre)
